The emission spectrum of a rectangular microlaser (element size 100х200х80 um)


Three-dimensional polymer microlasers, doped with organic dyes, are presented here. Analysis of the optical characteristics of these microlasers opens new perspectives in various fields of science and technology, including optoelectronics, communications and information technology, holography, interferometry, optical sensors and medicine. Research is conducted in collaboration with the group of Prof. Joseph Zyss and Dr Melanie Lebental  (Laboratoire de photonique quantique et Moleculaire, Institut d'Alembert - Ecole Normale Superieure de Cachan, France).
